Product Impact
- Led the design of shappi.com — the public web platform for Shappi's international delivery and collaborative logistics service, serving customers across Ecuador, Colombia, Chile and Peru.
- Designed conversion-focused surfaces (Get a locker, Shipping quote, Verified Travelers) that turn cold traffic into signups for the B2C app and applications for the traveler program.
- Aligned the marketing web with the mobile product ecosystem so users get one coherent brand experience from first click to first delivery.
Leadership Highlights
- Extended the centralized Shappi Design System into the web, unifying tokens, components and interaction patterns across marketing site, B2C/B2B apps and internal tools.
- Owned the end-to-end web design: information architecture, hero, comparison sections, 'How Shappi works', pricing/quote tool and traveler acquisition flows.
- Partnered with Marketing and Front-end to iterate on funnels, run design QA and ship pixel-perfect, responsive, multi-country experiences.
- Designed the multi-country experience with localized copy, currencies and flags (🇪🇨 🇨🇴 🇨🇱 🇵🇪) without fragmenting the visual system.
Overview
shappi.com is the public web platform for Shappi — an international delivery and collaborative logistics service that connects Latin American shoppers with verified travelers who bring purchases from U.S. and China online stores (Amazon, Shein, AliExpress, Apple, Nike and more) to their doorstep. As Senior UX/UI Designer, I owned the end-to-end design of the site: hero, brand showcase, courier-vs-Shappi comparison, 'How Shappi works' 4-step flow, shipping quote tool, verified travelers landing and the app-download surfaces.
Business Context
Shappi is an alternative to traditional couriers, removing customs procedures, local taxes and category restrictions (like annual quotas or 4x4 weight limits). The web is the top of the funnel for the whole ecosystem: it has to explain a non-trivial logistics model in seconds, build trust (200K+ deliveries, 4.5★ rating, 2,433+ reviews), and drive users into either the Shopper flow (get a free U.S. locker) or the Traveler flow (verified travelers program). It also needs to feel native to four Latin American markets at once.
My Role
I owned the end-to-end product design for shappi.com. I defined the IA and hierarchy for the marketing narrative, designed the shipping quote tool as an interactive, product-grade surface, and shaped the verified travelers landing to convert applicants. I extended the centralized Shappi Design System into the web so tokens, components and interaction patterns stayed consistent with the B2C/B2B apps.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end UX/UI for shappi.com across desktop and mobile.
- Hero, brand showcase, 'Courier vs Shappi' comparison and 'How Shappi works' 4-step section.
- Design of the interactive shipping quote tool (categories, pricing, real-time summary).
- Verified Travelers landing and application funnel.
- App-download surfaces with QR + App Store / Google Play badges.
- Extension of the Shappi Design System into web tokens and components.
- Design QA and hand-off with front-end to ensure pixel-perfect, responsive delivery.
Challenge
Translate a complex three-sided marketplace — Shoppers, Travelers, Ambassadors — into a marketing web that is fast to understand, feels trustworthy for four different Latin American markets, and doubles as a product surface (shipping quote tool, traveler application) without breaking the visual language of the mobile apps.
Process
- Funnel analysis: mapped the marketing-to-product journey — from first landing-page visit to app signup or traveler application — to identify conversion gaps.
- Information architecture: structured the site into hero, social proof, courier comparison, how-it-works, quote tool, traveler landing and app-download sections.
- Design System extension: translated the mobile app's tokens, components and interaction patterns into responsive web patterns.
- Quote tool design: turned a simple pricing request into an interactive product-grade surface with categories, real-time summary and clear next steps.
- Multi-country adaptation: localized copy, currencies and flags for Ecuador, Colombia, Chile and Peru while keeping the same visual system and component behavior.
Visual

Results
- Live multi-country marketing web powering signups across Ecuador, Colombia, Chile and Peru.
- Interactive shipping quote tool that turns a pricing question into an in-context product demo.
- Design System extended to web, so brand, components and tokens stay consistent across every Shappi surface.
- Trust signals (200K+ deliveries, 4.5★ rating, 2,433+ reviews) integrated into the hero to reinforce conversion.
